So...hours upon hours were wasted. And yes, I got my 500 grunnies needed. I completed that portion of the halloween events. And I did it for no other reason than I could.
In short, I didn't really like this event, to be completely honest. There was too much spam going on, too much elitism, too much whining. It was nice to find a few threads where people were cooperating and such. But I really didn't care much for the spam situation, even if I went along with it, but events are funny like that.
I'm happy I got my grunny avatar, though. It was more to prove it to myself that I could than anything else.
As for the rest of Halloween...
Getting all the Trick or Treating items may be a bit more difficult, considering my schedule. No matter, I'll try and get them all anyway. whee
edit: Yay. VO extended the trick-or-treating. I have no worries now at all.
edit2: As of right now, we can customize/dress up our avatars and keep the zombie look. heart once again to the admins for letting us do that today. I'm almost hoping they'll keep it that way and eventually give us the option of getting our regular avatar back or just have us do it by deleting/resaving it, either way, I changed my outfit. Ha.
