I figure this is a good a place as any to post this.
today, on my way home from the doctor, I hit some black ice.... and then I'm not sure what happened. When I was finally aware of what was going on, I was sitting in my father's truck and he was talking to my mom on his cell phone. It looks like my Jeep is totaled. I'm okay-ish. Shaken, I hit my head so that hurts as well as my jaw and tongue. My dad was a crash scene investigator in the USAF, and he said that there's a chance I went air borne.
