An Angel fell from Heaven once,
And landed in the snow,
Lost and scared, she huddled up,
She had nowhere to go.
Her wings now bent and tattered,
There were scratches on her face,
Alone now she began to cry,
Trapped in this awful place.
She sat there shiv’ring, crying,
As the wind around her blew,
When a noise caused her to look up
‘Twas the sound of someone’s shoe.
Through tear stained eyes she saw him,
Another angel, so he seemed,
This boy now walking by her,
More beautiful than any dream.
His face was more than perfect,
Golden hair atop his head,
Eyes filled with liquid silver,
Though a sad look his eyes read.
As he passed beside her,
The boy came to a stop,
Knelt down, began to wipe her tears,
As they fell, drop by drop.
A blush tinted her face at this,
The boy touching her cheeks,
But she’d fell down & landed hard,
To resist, she was too weak.
“What’s wrong?” the boy asked softly,
His voice honey to her ears,
“I’m lost…” she murmured in reply,
As he still dried her tears.
“Would you like to come with me?”
He asked in the same tone,
How could she refuse him?
Being lost, and all alone.
