We will be covering the affect that the media has on children.

In my humble opinion, it has a terrificly staggering affect. Most children nowadays like to immitate what they see as "cool", and all to often end up hurting others in the process. For example, when a child is playing a violent video game he sees that the main character is praised for what he is doing and then thinks that its alright to do. They then use these new methods they learned and apply them to their social life. Thats a tough one to swallow, kids playing grand theft auto then going out into a playground for a good ol game of beatdown. I say its not the fault of the producers of the game, but of the parents who chose to purchase such games for the wee ones, knowing full well their affect. I say its time for parents to stop pointing the blame and start reflecting.
