A song i wrote a while ago,thinking of just how grateful i am to have what i have,and lucky to survive what others haven't.



i wake to thank another day,
as i open my window and watch the sun rise,
the sky and light so pure so clean,
honest to god im thankful to see,
like a rose among thorns,
i longed for that purity.

Time is the healer
but the scars wont fade
love is the answer,
no question was made.
was once a fruit,
the free will so sweet,
now is a poison,regret and defeat

but i wake to thank another day
to watch the sun rise,
watch the sun rise...
