Johnathan was the son of a wealthy English businessman, one of the first owners of an industrial factory. Johnathan however, didn't show any interest in following his fathers footsteps. His friends and having fun were more important to him. One night his friends decided to steal some papers in one of the new factories. In this process, they were caught, by his father. The next day when he tried to apologize, his father wouldn't hear of it. He called him a disgrace to his family, and was thrown out on the streets with nothing. For the next few years, Colton was a wanderer. Which wasn't easy. Through his travels, one of the areas he had to traverse in almost lead to his death, when he was attacked by a wolf pack. The wolves were scared off by something when they were almost going to land the deathblow to him. As he laid there bleeding to death, a shadowy man and a woman came into his view. While he reached up to them the woman took his arm and bit him at the wrist. With that, he passed out. When he woke up, he was in a castle bandaged up and sore from the wounds. When he spoke to the woman he saw, she informed him of what happened and what he now was. Despite how much trouble he had accepting this fact, he coped. Spending the next few years honing his new natural powers, and a few, he discovered to be his own. He also spent more time honing his musical ability during the time he was injured while discovering his powers. His personal ability was to fight, track, move, see, everything like a beast. This brought up the nickname, "The beast" for him. After his time came, he left the castle to begin another life. Through the times he wandered from one place to another, just doing his own thing. During the 1950's he glanced at the music scene and noticed someone rather distinct. A musical talent going by the name of "Johnny Cash". He fell in love with his style, and even bared a slight resemblance to him from his younger years. He noticed his dress, his style, and he liked it. After that he took to dressing in black suits, dark glasses, and even picked up his guitar again, so he could earn money while traveling. During the modern times from the 50's to now, he developed his own style and attitude. He was using the name, and Cash was his reason for picking up the guitar again. But that was it. He had the name, he had his own attitude, but he wasn't the legend, nor did he try to be. Now he was just a vampire who liked to wander. Those that did ask about his name though, he simply answered "My parents were big fans and had high hopes."
