Ender of people's life
Friend of the respectful
Enemy of the ignorant
You give light to those who see
You destroy those who have died
You warm your friends
You burn your enemies
You are an element of life
And an element of death
You are friends with responsible people
And assailant of the irresponsible people
You are shades of red, orange, and yellow
You vary on what you burn
Sometimes you are blue, green, and purple
Sometimes you don't even appear
You die in the wind and water
You live in wood and land
You choke on sand and foam
You feed on oxygen and leaves
You are fire, element of life and death
