On Sore Teeth and Venting
I've been told by a few people that for one thing, people do care what I have to say, and for another it might be good for me to write. To get my thoughts out in the open. Relieve stress and all that mumbo-jumbo.
I had a LiveJournal to this end, but it would appear that some people just cannot move forward, and are still using it to keep tabs on me, despite my best efforts to the contrary. So I think I will start over here. This journal is now only viewable to people on my Friends list, so I feel like I can trust you all to keep anything you see here within the confines of these pages, and conversations with me personally. I'd rather some things not run over into the public eye.
So now, on to less interesting matters. My teeth. Yes, ooh, exciting. I had a cavity filled today, my first in almost a decade. I thought it was the only one in my Adult teeth, but apparently it was the second. I'd forgotten one. I'd also forgotten how bloody much it HURTS afterwards. It's been about six hours and I still can't consume cold drinks without burning spirals of infernal pain running up my skull and into my eyeballs. And if that's not enough, it turns out I officially have four impacted wisdom teeth. Two minorly impacted ones, one so-so, and one wedged permanently between my teeth and my jawbone. Loverly. They kept hoping they would come out of their own accord, but they've been festering away in my jawbone now for about four years. They were wrong.
My dentist has referred me to an oral surgeon, to have them gouged out of my skull at some point in the near future. You can bet your booty I'm looking forward to that. I'm sure it will be a veritable barrel of laughs.
For tonight, I will leave you with the lovely mental image of a zonked-out Moony, strapped to an operating table, with four cavernous holes in her gaping maw. Pretty, eh?
