Character Name: Ashley Styge AKA Ashes, Ash, The Sultan
Character Concept: It all started the day Ashley died. Or night, if you MUST be specific about those things. See, he didn't quite die. Or, well, he did, but some force or power beyond our reckoning decided, "Hey, I think I might keep him around for bit." Or something like that, only more...deity-like.
The trouble lay in a couple facts: first, Ashley didn't die of natural causes, insofar as the snap of a noose constricting your oxygen flow, breaking your neck, and other hideous details is natural; and second, whatever supreme being brought Ashley back to life was a little late to do so. Ashley swung from the thick branch of his ash tree for three days and nights, bloating and rotting like corpses do, before a queer new form of life sent his flailing body back into the world of living.
Why Ashley came back from the dead, how it was done, for what purpose, and when will Keith Richards crumble to dust, are all questions left unanswered for the time being. Only a couple things are certain...that Ashley is part of some great master plan that probably has nothing whatsoever to do with anything remotely important, and that coming back from the dead in such a fashion drove him completely and utterly INSANE. Sometimes it is playful, fun insane. Sometimes it is paranoid, frightening insane. Sometimes it is just Eat-A-Baby insane.
