A poem for me buddies? ;D
Fearsome lies,
Savage cries,
Envied lives,
Gruesome sighs.
We've had feelings,
We've had beatings.
We have needings,
We have pleadings.
Can we tell how?
Right here and now?
Do we need to vow?
No, not even bow.
We can lie,
We can cry,
We can live,
We can sigh.
We are us.
We have guts.
Did we not replace huts?
Did we not survive?
Did we not make sense of our lives?
Did we not find courage to keep going and create anew?
I tell you now,
Right here and now.
We have.
We have done whatever was needed to create a better future.
