I hold a doll of you, stitched with threads of my memory and filled with rose petals...
I hold it tightly, hoping you'll appear or it will some how turn into the real you...
I reach out in darkness, nothing comes into my arms...nothing even touches the tips of my fingers...am I so far away...?
the blood tears stream from my eyes,
how much longer must it be like this?
how much longer must I be alone?
Please find me! I scream from atop my cathedral.
amidst the gargoyles I stand, looking and looking constantly for you...where could you be?
blood streams from the roof over the gargoyles and little ornate carvings....
everything fades, I step backwards off the roof and close my eyes slowly...darkness catches me before I land...

dancing alone in the darkness as if you were there, I suddenly fall to my knees, shaking.
I hug myself tightly, two drops of blood fall upon the silver moons reflection in the sea of red in front of me..
I reach for the doll of you but the darkness drags it away from me, I get to my feet and chase after it, but to no avail...as the darkness taunts me with it I slump to the ground once more and stare into the nothingness.....
why do I deserve this?
do I? what did I do to deserve this?
what did I do......?
why...???
I hug myself tightly again as I lay upon the ground, the rose vines wrap around me once more...maybe I should sleep and never wake up again..then it would all be over.. and I could sweetly dream for all eternity...
I close my eyes and an ancient music box melody slowly plays...........
