In this little piece of typical tragedy.

I love "House". I'm not a big television watcher, but I've gone out of my way to watch this show, every tuesday on my local fox station. But not lately. Why? Because they've been showing ******** baseball. I don't care about baseball. I want to watch House. This however, is not meant to be. So, I said "******** that", and purchased te first season of House on DVD. And watched six hours of it last night. Man, I love that show.

But, that's not the point of this story. Funny thing happened when I went to target to purchase House.

We're strolling up the electronics section, and I decide to stop and check out the PC games. They almost never have anything good, but.. I was there, so, why not? Hit the endcap, and what do I see, but 7 copies of F.E.A.R. just sitting on the shelf. I did a double-take, and then wondered what the date was. I then swore out loud, that EB didn't call me when they receivied it, and was pre-ordered and everything. Then, realizing it was the 15th.. I asked the local mophead when they got the game in. He said he didn't know, and pulled over the local electronics register monkey. The register monkey points to the sign, says "oh, it comes out on the 18th." Then, he saw the boxes and his jaw hit the floor. Snatching the copy I had picked up out of my hands, he proceeded to clear the shelves of the game. He was practically shitting himself. If I hadn't ordered a directors edition already, I would have walked out of target with that game in hand. 3 days before the supposed "ship date". Way to go, target. You done ******** up. Also, note how there were 7 copies. 2 rows of 4, one missing. Odd number, no? Guess some lucky ******** snagged one before they noticed. smile Well, he gets bragging rights. I get my directors cut edition for cheaper on the "ship date", 2 days from now. Still.. I find that funny as hell.

Anyways.. If you don't watch House, start watching. It kicks a**. I'm not normally one for TV overmuch.. But this show grips me, like a monkey learning tools, and it will not let go. It's a bit steep in cost, but it's 16 hours of the best show I've seen in years. Just be sure to clear up your schedule after you buy it.
