Mina walked down the busy street,on her way to the park called,Alice Maria Park.It was an old park that had seemed to have been there forever. Its grass was overgrown from having too much water.Its trees were twisted and scarred by teenagers who scratched things like,"Sam + Megan" and "Pete rules". Mina didn't like the park but it was a nice place to cool off from everything in her life,because hardly anyone came to the park during summer through winter.The only time the park flowerd was in the spring and that was the nicest time to come.The play equipment was old and rusted,so parents wouldn't let children come to the park at all. Mina had come here to get away from her nanny, being that her parents always worked and no one was able to watch her.She didnt like this nanny at all,she was strict and mean. Nothing like her grandmother.
As Mina walked across the worn sidewalk, cracked from the weather she thought to herself,"why did I come here,I was told by nanny that I had to stay in the apartment."She walked a little while longer along the park path,untill she came to an old oak tree that looked like it had a face that stopped before it finished forming,"Wow what an odd tree that is..." Before she knew it, she was being drawn to the tree. She hadn't noticed that there was a ring of mushrooms around the tree.She stepped in the ring and then it all went dark. She heard a roar then her skin felt warm as the past summer.
When she awoke, Mina could hear the buzz of wings and felt the presence of someone by her. As Mina opened her eyes and turned over on her side, kneeling down by her was a young woman with a smile. She had black hair and green eyes that Mina had gotten lost in just looking at them.The woman was wearing the most beautiful dress that Mina had ever seen.Was this lady a hallucination, was this forest world a hallucination was everything? All Mina's life she was told there was no such thing as fairies or magic of any sort so what was this....?
"Did you step into a fairy ring...?" The Lady asked in an enchanting voice."what...?"Mina asked not sure what the lady had asked." A fairy ring is a portal to my world from yours..."she replied. Mina was puzzled then she got an idea "oh I know, I must be asleep." The woman motioned for Mina to follow her. As she did so, it started to become foggy and misty , Mina couldn't say a thing. She could hardly hear anything . The only words she could get through to the lady were,"whats your name...?" To this the lady answerd,"its Bellen..."
After that it had gone dark again. As Mina started to come back from her dream world the words of Bellen had been ringing in her ears. When she opened her eyes she was surrouned by several kids that had been playing soccer before when Mina had walked by. Also her Nanny was kneeling next to her like Bellen had. "is she going to be okay?"one of the kids asked. "yes,she'll be alright." Mina's Nanny replied softly. "If it wasn't for Miss Bellen, I think we wouldn't have ever found you, Mina."
