I was messing around on a game the other day, and I saw someone running about saying "TO BE MY BF PRSES 1234" and stuff like that. Now normally this wouldn't be a problem; heck, it's EXPECTED. But I had also been on a site that talks about that game, and their section on in-game relationships. It plainly stated that "solicitation" is against the rules as of July of last year. That set me to thinking: In-game relationships are stupid. For one thing, who's to say your "bf" isn't a 40-year-old man in his basement? How do you know they aren't really a girl (or boy) using a male (or female, see above) avatar? What if they're just playing you for items and money and then dumping you and moving on? And yet, people continue to do stuff like this. It's just plain retarded.
