I had a dream last night, it was about the first day i was found, it was so much clearer than my memories had been. I remember how thick the air was, and how i struggled to drag in each breath. My chest felt as if it was collapsing, yet i couldn't find the strength to stop breathing. I had no clothes, and my ribs were jutting out from under my skin. My hair was grey, and down past my Knees. It acted like a blanket as i laid on the cold wet ground. My body shook, and i was glad for it meant i didn't have hypothermia. My nails were 5 inches long at least, and my eyes were so much lighter blue than they are now. My head hurt, as if someone was hammering nails into my skull. I remember wanting to sleep, but i was afraid i would be lost in uncontiousness. Just then, the pains through my skull got so sharp that i was seeing black and spots. I covered my eyes with my hands and badly wanted to release the preasure. It was so quiet, i couldn't remember where i was, what happened or even my name. I was afraid, terrified actually. And then i woke up some place warm and the pain was gone. Voices all around me in whispers. And then i woke up from my dream.
It was the first day i remembered. I had woken up in the hospital, with many strange people around me. All their faces filled with caring and concern yet i didn't recognize anyone around me.
This was the first day of my life.
