Unredeemable
I think, but the answer does not come
I know, but I have not become wise
The single greatest gift I have is worthless
Even to me…
The Dreadful silence has come to me
As if to torture me with its will
I seek to find what I have lost
But I only find what remains
All has changed since I left
Even though I wish it not to be
But within winters cold it seems
I have had more than my home turn cold
I turn to flee from my Melancholy
But I only find a road
Along that road lie enemies I never saw
I walk upon the sharpest rocks ignoring the pain
And along this path, I come across a gate
Bright as can be, but none the less I weep
For I know I lost the key long ago…
