******** roots and holes and things. Nature and I don't get along.

I went for a walk in the woods with my folks, my cousin, and her boyfriend, and invariably ended up a bloody gimp again. I sprained my ankle tripping over a root or something. Thankfully my cousin's an athletic therapist (and tolerates my godawful clumsiness) and taped it up good. Take that, nature. I was wearing my shitkicking boots I got at the army surplus, which helped, I think. They hold my ankles in place. I hate to think what I might have done if I'd been wearing my sneakers (aside from get very damp socks).

I did get some pretty awesome pictures though. If anyone wants to see, lemme know and I'll post them when the batteries are recharged enough to transfer them.

In somewhat related news, being stuck in the back seat of a car with a cranky old greek woman for several hours is not fun. I have this fathomless capability for sleeping short bursts in odd places (and yet am incapable of sleeping properly for hours at a time in my own bed, go figure) so I just napped and didn't have to listen to my grandmother rant about everything. She's worse than a cranky blogger sometimes. crying

I'm getting scared about Tuesday. Got a doctor's appointment, and I'm worried she's gonna tell me I need surgery for that blob in my wrist, and that I have to stop spending so much time online. Cause that'd suck hairy goat 'nads...
