I am in complete and utter shock right now, and I mean complete.
See, this is what happened:
I was just finishing a portion of the flyers I had to deliver, and I was returning home. There was a girl walking down the cresent, our side of it, and, since I don't like confronting people in any way, I tried to ignore her. But, as I was climbing up the porch steps, I hear the girl call out, "Bethany?" So, of course, I turned around and I think I just said all cheerily, "Hi" or something, since I should know a person who knows my name.
The thing that was like the roses of life chucking a block into my face was the fact that she addressed herself as Erin. Now, for those who may not know, Erin was a childhood friend of mine, who I haven't spoken to since around October 6, 2000. So four years, basically. My ******** God it is insane how much people can change within four years!
Now this is where the Butterfly Effect thing comes in. You know how the Butterfly Effect is that the flap of a butterfly's wings can cause a typhoon on the other side of the world (The Chaos Theroy), well, I was thinking that if I didn't take a break to eat before setting off to deliver the set of flyers, I probably wouldn't have met up with Erin.
Life is so strange.
