as night begins to fall
and i lay in bed
i suddnly feel the call
and a voice inside my head
i get up blindly
my eyes still adjust
and i walk around quietly
sneezing at the dust
i go to the door
and turn my head
as thunder began to roar
and everything turned red
there was a hole in my wall
and as i look through
i see a girl somewhat tall
with long hair and eyes green/blue
her face is that of agony
and her spirit seems to fall
as she stared at me
i can see her try to call
she reaches for me
i reach back
longing to hear the truth
and in her eyes i saw what lacked
inside i was you
reflected in her eyes
and i could see it too
and i reach to wipe it
she did the same as she called
and suddenly i realize it
her eyes and hair
her mouth and nose
and i know why i care
as curiosity rose
i looked around the hole
and realized what it was
and soon it took its toll
and i know what it does
this was no hole in the wall
was not a hole at all
it was a mirror
