my thoughts exactly
Guardian Angel Ch. 1 Pt. 2
Before I was able to even close my eyes, I was already in my dream world. I was running aimlessly through the thick, white clouds searching for him to make sure he was alright. It felt like hours before I saw him, lying on the clouds, covered in a pool of blood. I ran as quickly as I could and started to cry. All my dreams before were of him smiling or holding me, but this time his eyes were shut. He had no heartbeat as I pressed my ear by his heart. The headaches proved their worth as I held the man of my dreams in my arms and cried.
As I sat there, I suddenly heard a noise. It felt like a breeze, but before I could turn around to see what was making it, there was a kantana going straight threw my chest. All I could do was stare at the man in my arms. Even though I was still in shock for hanging on so long, my eyes took a mental picture of his face that I will never forget. All I could see was pain and suffering. The one that I have longed for over and over in my dreams is fading away right in front of my eyes.
Before I could speak another dash of pain went in my chest. I gasped for breath and as soon as I did I noticed I was back in my bed, covered in sweat. It truly was a dream, but why did it feel so real? All I could do was breathe and hold my chest tightly like this afternoon.
I reached over myself to my nightstand to grab my glass of water. I felt like throwing it on myself to drown the sweat but I noticed that it was empty. Damn. I ripped my sheets off my body as if it were a band aid and started limping toward my stairs since my right foot was still asleep. I was still sweating tremendously for the shock of the dream hadn’t fully recovered by the time I had made it to the kitchen.
As I dabbed the sweat out of my eyes with my hand to see, horror struck once again, but this time it wasn’t a dream….the blood was real.
I stared hopelessly at the image of my mother on the floor in a pool of blood, and my dead father in the arms of a man with the color red imprinted on both of them. I fell to my knees and begged my self-conscious to look away, but was unable to persuade. I couldn’t stop staring at my loving family who looked as if they were devoured.
“Oh. There you are.”
I swung my head up a little to notice the man that was holding my father, who I had forgotten was even in front of my eyes after staring at my parents’ faces for so long. He threw my father to the ground next to my mother and wiped the blood off of his face with a handkerchief that he pulled out of his pocket. He looked middle age and was very tall and pale. His black hair just touched the rim of his collar of the fleece jacket that he was wearing, though it was hard to tell what the color was.
“You know… you have given me a lot of trouble to find you.” He said with a little smirk on his face. He started walking towards me with slow, cautious steps as if he was hunting me and he didn’t want me to run away. The problem was that I was so terrified my feet could only tremble let alone stand up. I gazed at him as he started getting closer and closer towards me. My mouth wouldn’t speak, my legs wouldn’t move, my eyes wouldn’t look away…and as the moment of death was circling around, I began to somewhat faint, yet still keeping my eyes half open.
The man soon scooped me up as if I was just a mere doll, and walked back over by my parents and set me on one of the kitchen counters. My body wouldn’t move at all and I just sat up there in fear, as I waited for the man to murder me as well.
“Finally…the last hope for the Guardians.” He said, as he pulled a large knife from his shoe. “This wont be easy to do you know.” He brushed the knife over my neck. “It really is a pity because you look so tasty.” Only a little blood fell from my neck to my lap as he started using more force. By now the paralysis was wearing off and I was able to shut my eyes and he made a cutting path around my body.
All I was thinking about was my dream…how I ran to help the hurt boy. Will anyone come running to save me?

Minutes passed and my will for life soon faded away. The man was making sure none of my blood had spilt on him, and would say things like, “Why aren’t you fighting back, Angel?” But, I just sat up there trying to cry but was not able to most likely from losing so much water from sweating. The time had come.
“What the ******** are you doing?”
I opened my eyes wide and moved my head to see past the man who had shifted his head around. There he was. It was him! He stared at the man furiously as he started to grab my arm and hold it tight.
“Ah…long time no see.” The man holding me said with a smirk on his face. He lightened up his grip on me as he stared at my dream guy, his eyes red and filled with hate. Soon in a flash of a millisecond, the man leaped towards my dream guy, his mouth opened wide. But before I couldn’t even blink, my dream guy drew two swords from his waist and pierced the frightening man who was still in the air, through the heart.
He kicked the man away from him which forced the two swords to be removed, splattering blood all over the kitchen. The man tumbled around the ground then soon disintegrated into the pool of my blood from where he was cutting me.
As I looked back up, I noticed that my dream guy was right next to my face.
“Oh great.” He sighed. “Are you al right?” I could not respond to his question though. My lips must still have been paralyzed. He had a very worried look on his face, like he was going to be late for something. “Can you move?” he asked. All I could do was stare at him helplessly, unable to speak. “Don’t worry I’m here to help you. My name is…”
“Takahiro.” I finally spoke. The words just flowed with no thought whatsoever.
He looked puzzled and almost in fear. “How do you know my name?” I thought about his question deeply, then soon realized I did not even know myslef. Sure I’ve seen him before, but in my dreams he never spoke let alone say his name.
“I…don’t…know…” I said weakly. He stared at me with disbelief.
“Are you alright?” he asked again. I stared to check my body and to my amazement, the blood path had stopped bleeding and looked almost as if it were only a scar.
“I think so.” I said. “Can you save my parents?”
He looked down to avoid eye contact, then looked back up at me. “We have to go. They know your sent now.” He grabbed my hand and helped me down from the counter. My legs were still sluggish from the paralysis, but I was able to limp my way out of the house. Takahiro looked around the property then back towards me.
“We can drive.” He said as he lifted me up in his arms and carried me to the back seat of our silver explorer. He then swooped over to the driver’s seat and stared the car with a nice purr.
“Put your seatbelt on.” He told me and I obeyed. We then drove off into the night changing the course of my life forever.
