My Angel's Nightmare
I hear his voice
I make my choice
Do I reply
Or should I deny
The sound, it leaves my heart to flutter
My feeble voice begins to mutter
He is my angel
That came down from heaven
His voice is sweet like honey
And soft like velvet
There is no way
I can defy it
I see the light
I feel his fright
For as I lay in his arms
Hurting before him
The lights begin to dim
Everything slowly fades
I start to feel frayed
I close my eyes
And feel my world disappear before me
My angel watches as I rest peacefully.
