Okay, here's the story. I was bored and surffed the net as usual. I look through the links i have to see if any have updates or so. Then i opend violet candy, a online store (USA) where you can buy goth-loli things as well as clothes (yes i'm into those too! XD). I clicked somewhere there and ended up seeing a bjd (ball jointed doll), it was love at first sight! Since it was nearing christmas (It was last year around this same week of november) i begged my dad to buy me one so he said yes (i said the price last). But unfortunately, we don't know where to buy it locally (there isn't a single store here in my country that anyone knows or sure that it exists & sells bjd) all of the stores sell mostly online or either on their own country or USA. I mumbled, grumbled and cried so that my father will do anything to buy me one! But alas, the billing adress he gave isn't correct so i wasn't able to have one. My father said that he would buy me as long that there is one available locally! (No matter how much is it~ T-T) Since my country isn't that into online shopping, my father was doubting coz it's about money (veyr huge amount) & he wants me to get the doll as soon as we gove the money. (Immagine paying $450++, we have to convert it to Php) I actually regretted buying the porcelain doll when i was in hongkong two or three years ago. I should've bought that doll that seller was talking about even though it's very expensive and we didn't have it in our budget >.< Then i wailed, pout & cried again just like a little five year old girl would do if she doesn't get what she wants! (I'm currently 19 yrs old, i was 18 then, my b-day was on june 25) Then on March 26, 2008; two days before my younger sister's graduation from high school (i'm the eldest/ unica hija) as i was surfing the net for bjd & stuff, i found a website. It's an online store and the seller is in the Philippines so i checked it out right away. Even though it wasn't exactl BJD it still has joints & it is still customizable thus letting me discover Pullip. The address (also the name of the store) is dollhauz.com, they sell jun planning dolls specially pullip. As soon as i found the site i texted my father about it and where their store is located. Since my sister will be shopping for shoes the nest day, he said that we'll also buy the doll the next day so we'll save on the gas, clothes & time. (See i told you he'll buy even though he would complain XD) Then i was over excited that i almost couldn't sleep & i took my time picking a doll (he promised me two but he only bought me one! he's cheap to us but his clothes & things are all branded! My ftaher usually wears La Coste shirts~) Since i'ma rozen maiden fan i pick amongst them. (i texted the seller what they have currently in their store) Amongst Suiseiseki, Souseiseki, Canary, Hina Ichigo and Barasuishou, I picked Bara. The next day (my father made me buy only one T-T) i wanted to have a Namu/Taeyang (a guy doll) but my father doesn't want me to (i dunno why...) He made me pick between Bara and the Nana themed Pullip w/ her partner. I even put into consideration to buy Aquel since she's so pretty but in the end i went home w/ Bara! My father bought me a hard case for a musical instrument slightly smaller than a guitar from a local music store and i love it! (It looks like a coffin! It has an outer cover of black leather & inner cover of red velvet~ Nice isn't it?)
But then, after a few minutes opening her (gladly my father wasn't there anymore) one of her wrists broke (i was shocked, teary eyed and scared of my father if you know what i mean) so i mended it w/ masking tape. (it wasn't that obvious since it's the same colour as her skin XD) Ater some hours of posing her & taking pics her other wrist broke! (I was like "nnnnnnuuuuuuuuu~" wink I mended it again w/ masking tape... Her hair is beautiful but due to the curls down the long hair, it got messed up. It's now um... unmentionable! T-T Then after months, last october we went to greenhills w/ my family to shop and my grandma bought me Little Riletto, then i bought Little Carol and Little Rudolph. After buying the Little Pullips w/c are so adorable, i ordered my first doll from pullipstyle.com. I payed through western union ^^ and received the doll a week after payment. XD What Pullip did i ordered? It is Youtsuzu now named Rueni (yes Rueni, same as me~) and i love her dearly. Now i am expecting the arrival of my white soft bust (M bust) female Obitsu Body i ordered from mimiwoo (w/ a brown furwig). She said that she mailed it last monday, since i didn't choose EMS (i'm not that excited to get the body & wig... also EMS is quite expensive) & the holidays hit the delivery sched, so it will arrive anytime this week. Unless the darn customs wants additional money that they'll make me come there and wait for a long time just to pick up those two little items! It happend to my Youtsuzu so i'm bit... traumatized specially it's my first time to order anything online. Well it happens since the holidays are here & many packages are being sent.
Anyway, my love for Pullips has only gone stronger since i got Rueni. It made me forget about the more expensive BJDs. I mean, Pullips' body are only made of vinyl & their heads are bigger than their body but other than that they are the same as thos BJDs. Next year i'll be expecting lots of new dolls so i have to clean up & sell some of my anime/manga/gaming stuff to make room for my dollies. ^^ That's my story, hope you like it guys ^^
