Bio
There is nothing about Kahz that isn't unusual. Though born human - she'd rarely tell you this, mind you - she keeps an odd, animalistic form. Her age is never revealed, and it's doubtful that Kahz is even truly her name. From place to place she travels under an unknown command - at least, unknown to others. In truth, she owes life and limb to a guild that revived her from what should have been a permanent, cold death; a guild with purposes unknown and a name only whispered in legend and stories. The Eyes they've been called, used in stories to scare little children into staying out of trouble. But who are the Eyes? As mysterious as Kahz herself, truly; a girl who wears watches that don't tell time, belts that don't hold trousers, and keys that open no doors. Yet, as the few that come to know her find, each thing has a hidden purpose, and so, perhaps, so do the Eyes.
As an individual, she is friendly, optimistic, adventurous, and, in a pinch, a powerful and fierce ally. Bonds of friendship, as rare as they are for her, are more prescious than any diamond, fueling a fierce sense of protection and loyalty.
Magics:
Though well-versed in her knowledge of a massive range of magics, simply from her own fascination, her abilities are limited to two: shapeshifting, and what she's come to call "lightweaving." Lightweaving is typically more of a distractive technique than a powerful force in day-to-day use. It's the ability to draw from the energies of life around her and form it into semi-solid, moving objects. The damage they can inflict all depends on how much energy is channeled into them, and so, with enough time and focus to gather it, it could be a deadly force. However, with the amount of time and concentration it takes to gather such strengths, it's rarely used in such a way, since typically, it's needed in a fast-paced situation.
Weaknesses/Problems:
• The most obvious of her weakness is found simply by a pat on the back: her spine is hypersensitive, and when struck, sends a shockwave of confusion that will cause her to fall - only for the moment, but enough to be a nuisance.
• A rarer problem - but a problem indeed - is controlling the animal mind in an aggressive shift. If her focus is not kept clean and clear, she can lose herself and lash out at anything - friend or foe - in the way. It's a state of pure aggression, usually kept well under control, but a serious risk when not.
• Keeping track of people when searching with something or dealing with a hectic situation is not a strong-point of hers. Granted she'll always clean whatever mess is caused later, her distraction can become a serious problem.
• No matter what shift she takes, Kahz has never been able to obtain the reflection needed in the eyes of night-visioned animals, and thus, is vulnerable in darkness... and tends to hate moving / traveling in it.
