I have LOADS of great news!
Marching band is finally over! Mostly. Okay, half over. What matters is the fact that I'll NEVER have to mach the Into the Impossible show EVER AGAIN!!!!!! I'll miss it though...
But we're having a different show to learn (Brunswick made it to the playoffs. We were only defeated by Strongsville) and the new sho is HALLOWEEN THEMED!!! We're playing the theme from Halloween, Thriller (the color guard are doing the dance, AND are dressed as zombies!), and Ghostbusters. We even get to wear our costumes onto the field!
Speaking of costumes, I get to dress up for Halloween THREE different times, in THREE different costumes! For school, I'm being a boy, because cross-dressing is fun, For my friend Lupe's halloween party, I'm being Itachi Uchiha, and For marching band, I'm being a vampire.
The Itachi costume has to be my favorite, though. I've spent $100 dollars on an Akatsuki cloak and hat, I have huge balck (hooker) boots with like, a two inch heel, black jeans, and a blood red shirt. I have a vampire cape that I'm going to applique red clouds on, so I can have a second cloak for my friend, Misuki (rukia hippo on gaia). I'm also using that cape for band, so It'll probably have clouds on it... But I'm using lip liner to put a scar across my eye and bite marks on my neck. If any of you Brunstucky-ans like myself are going to the game, try to spot me! I'm standing in the front!
Also, for concert band (when I'm not marching) I'm switching instruments! Right now, I'm playing flute, and it's getting kinda boring... Mr. Wardeska, my band teacher, says I could switch to bass clarinet. Tomorrow I'm going to get tested to see if I could actually play it! The best part is, I'll be playing MATT'S CLARINET! heart heart heart squee! I can't wait!
I just hope my mom could agree with this... My dad thinks this is a great idea!
