The day of peril arrived. I and a group of 7 others braved the elements, and found the courage to climb the high peeks to clear the crevasses of vile leaves. Sadly one of our party fell as she attempted to retreat from her post. Luckily no serious damage occurred.
so in real terms what does that mean. It means today was the all base clean up day (day of peril). and my work duty was to climb up onto the roofs (high peeks) and clean out the gutters (crevasses of vile leaves). there were 8 of us, and one girl did fall off the roof as she was climbing down the ladder, but she is fine and didn't get hurt.
