A whisper of lips against my cheek
His smoldering jade eyes consumes me
Entranced by the passion painted within
Surrendering to our feelings.
Secretes are meant to stay unspoken
But his brown eyes are broken
Screaming that he knows the truth
About who my heart belongs too.
Encompassed in his embrace
All fear begins to erase
That nagging feeling deep inside
Swept away from my mind.
Secretes are meant to stay hidden
But his affection seems forbidden
Screaming out his love for me
Though my heart ignores his pleas.
Hands linked together
Lips brushing each other
His jade eyes stare into mine
Telling me it will all be fine.
Secrets are meant to torture
But him knowing is the true torture
Screaming at me for answers
When I finally surrender.
My heart never belonged to cold brown eyes,
But remained with his soulful jade
So as I run to his place
I knew this was always my fate.
