To keep his reputation, Steven bravely marched foward as Jake got more and more afraid, and stayed a little behind. They approched the cave, and saw, well...
"What is that?" Steven asked, although Jake probobly didn't know.
"That's a molecular transformation caused by exposure to G-corp Ranks," Said Jake. "Woah, that was weird. I shouldn't know that."
"Oh well," Said Steven. "Hey, wait a minute. Where's that other guy?"
"Do you think he... he... might have...." Jake muttered.
"Spit it out, boy," Said Steven.
"Might have.. gotten... himself... e-e-eaten?" Jake said it a bit louder than he wanted to.
"Don't be silly. He wouldn't eat him. Chances are he would have left before it happened." Steven Said. "Hey, are you listening?"
Jake stared straight ahead, with pure fear in his eyes.
Steven kept talking, but soon he was nervous about him and looked the same way he was.
They both couldn't move.
The old guide had turned his head, and was glaring right into their eyes.
As he slowly walked toward them, this is what the travelers thought.
Jake thought, 'Its eyes are freezing us. If only i could look away.. Just for a moment...Just.... for....'
Yet he remembered an old eye trick his aunt taught him when he was little. If he used a certain muscle.... He could just.... 'Yes!' he screamed inside his head. He hit Steven so he stopped looking.
Then he realized something.
He realized that, this, thing... It must have been... The test.
~He knew what he had to do.
And it would be Legendary.~
