My heart is lying on the floor, ripped and torn to pieces. I stare at it, waiting for him to pick it up. But he won't take it. He won't heal me, all he'll do is leave another scar. I can no longer keep this "thing", this pain, this red and white mass of hurt. So I guess it will just lay there, becoming numb with every beat. And when it can no longer feel, that's when I'll pick it up.
