crying He said, She said . . .

She said, "I love you.''
He said, " I love you more."
She said, "I wouldn't care if you didn't believe in God."
He said, "I wouldn't care if you hated him more."

She said, "You're mine."
He said, "That's fine by me."
She said, "are you sure?"
He said, "How could I not be?''


She said, "You're what keeps me here."
He said, "I'd die if you were gone."
She said, "There's no way you love me more."
He said, "I'll just prove you wrong."

She said, "Your smile brings me life."
He said, "I've made a home in your heart."
She said, "I'm closer to you than anyone."
He said, "Nothing could break us apart."

She said, "Let's go get some ice cream."
He said, "There's a parlor across this street."
She said, " This time I'm paying."
He said, "You are always so sweet."

She screamed, "There's a car!"
He screamed, "We've got to move!"
She pushed him out of harm's way,
and the extent of her love was proved.

He fell to the curb, yelling out for her,
as the car went flying past.
There was no way he could save her,
the car was going way too fast.

He had said he loved her more.
Now he knows that he was wrong,
as he shuts the black car's door.

He says, "I'm sorry I couldn't save you."
He says, "It was all my fault, you know."
He says, "Why'd you have to leave me?"
He screams, "Why'd you have to go?!"
