
He picked his own roses and walked up to the girl. He presented them to her. A gift of his affections.
"Though I may have big eyes, they are red with the tears I shed thinking about how I can't have you. My ears are large and furry so that one day I hope you'd pet them. And my mouth is lined with rows of sharp teeth to protect you from those who wish you harm. Please. Love me, Little Red."
And thus she replied a twinkle in her eye, “I wear this red coat so your eyes will always see me, I sing a song so your ears may always hear me, and I carry this basket of food so you will always find me. So, can you not see, kind wolf, I love you already, quite utterly and truly.”
And with a kiss on the nose, a smile so sweet, she skipped off the road and into the forest, unafraid.
