14 year old boy living in a fast city of humans in which he is the second of the only two elves in the city. He takes care of his brother with his intelligence, serious personailty, and minor engineering skills. He, his brother, and there friends start a business hunting villians of the city. It went pretty well until one day a man in a black robe and a hooded monster show up in the city and reek havic. He confronts the robed man and nealry get killed as the cuty around them is purafied of civilization. HE finds himself outside of the city with his brother and the monster in an unexpected confrontation that changes there lives forever.

Kale is a weapon based fighter. He creates his friends and himself unusual, but deadly weapons that take a major and interesting toll on the story line. His serious behavior, vast intelligence, and basic engineering skill makes his roll supporting protagonist in the story.
