Well its that time again kiddos. I finnaly got around to going to the docs... and it is asmatic bronchitis which isn't a shock. Why you ask? Because I get it 3 to 10 times every single year! Actaully its more like 3-5... but I got it 10 times one year... that was kind of funny/sucky. Yeah... you would think I would be used to it by now... but it hurts so breathe with the fun addedness of coughing every 10 seconds and coughing up blood!~
Humph. HUMPH I SAY!
Anyway, the good news is, once I get around to seeing the doc for it, it only takes a week or two to clear up. Though I do pity the people I have to talk on the phone to since I keep putting it on mute everytime I talk. xD
This is how I've been answering the calls:
"Thank you for calling the American Red Cross, my name is Amanda. Thoughout this call there will be temporary times where you will hear nothing, don't worry about it, I have not hung up on you or lost your call. I'm just trying my best not to cough in your ear. It will sound much like this *Presses mute then presses it again.* I'm sorry for the innconvinance."
Yesterday one of my supervisors threw a cough drop at my head and told me to take my break early so I could get some water. xD I just started laughing and took my break. Then a floater was like " Could you leave the mouth cover, I forgot to bring mine." I was like "No, you do not want me to do that." and walked off. ( Floaters are the people who take over for us when its time for break/lunch and we're on a shealter call and thusly can not get off the phone unless we have someone cover for us. )
Off of being sick. Dri PM'ed me back about my inventory, that made me happy. It was in desperation that I PM'ed her... I'm just happy she's the same helpful Dri who will read a PM even if we're not exactly suppoed to PM admin about such stuff. ( Come on, a month with the way I buy stuff? You would be going insane from the clutter in my inventory as well. )
AND Joy among joy.... I got the shift I wanted!~ I am now graveyard. Midnight until 8:30... that makes my heart happy. heart

As for the throat problems, that sucks, but it must be funny to hear people's reactions to the muting and such. xd heart
