Okay, so, continuing with my Ai Yazawa theme (Yes, I know I seem obsessed recently, Luv-chan. It's because I am. razz But I'm fine with that.)
I read Paradise Kiss. But, after I finished V.1, they revealed, dun dun dun.... it's a continuation of Neighborhood Story. -___- So, naturally, I had to read that first. In the end, continuation does NOT mean sequel. You can read the two independently and feel completely satisfied, but I SERIOUSLY recommend reading Neighborhood Story first.
You can see the evolution of Yazawa's stories in these two. *laughs* The first one ends like a typical shoujou where the couple that are meant to be together are, and the second... it's more true to life to say the least. Your first love is rarely ever your only love. (Not to say it's a bad thing if it is! In fact, it's very much a wonderful thing!)
*sighs* But you do never forget the people you've loved.... -____- nyuu. I'm gonna get depressed at this rate.
Anyway, during the last chapter of ParaKiss, I was listening to Love Remains the Same (Gavin Rossdale). Once again, I SERIOUSLY recommend following suit. It fit SO ABSOLUTELY PERFECTLY.
I cried at the end of ParaKiss, but that's alright... *sighs* I love Yazawa.
