Most of my friends loooove the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer and they all say their favourites are New Moon or whatever. But, I'm still a fan of the first book, Twilight. Here are my reasons:

1. All the characters have at least some personality. I'll start with Edward:
Edward okay, I absolutely love him in the first book, because he's almost flawless. Everyone says he's too perfect and I think so, but not in Twilight. When Bella comes, he seems more human than vampire. He makes his own mistakes and was sexy while doing them. But, after he comes back, at the end of New Moon his character changes and he slowly becomes personality-less.
Bella Okay, I really hate Bella now, but I love her in Twilight. 1) She's not obsessed with sex and 2) She's not INSANE! She's still human and not really obsessed with the vampire world. She's a girl people can relate to, but then she loses her mind and everyone hates her.
Okay, there's all the characters that kind of lose it throughout the series.

2. The romance between Edward and Bella is still so innocent. They love each other so deeply, but it's not intimate at all. That's what I love about their relationship in Twilight. Oh, and back to the point about Edward's personality, he's actually acts human, even though they have fun running through the forest.

Yeah, I know I only thought up two reasons, but they're really good reasons. So yeah, that's why. =]
