Here it goes:
My dad decided he didn't like our monitor anymore (he said it kept on flashing and it was disconcerting him, giving him a headache etck) and swapped it with our other monitor.
He tried to clean the screen he claims, by rubbing tissue on it. Instead these "bright scratratches" are appearing. He doesn't realise he's just rubbing off the anti glare coating, idiot. The percentage of bright screen is gradually increasing as he keeps on attacking it.
I'll tell him eventually, then have a good laugh.
