You said no to our friendship
Now I gotta figure out why
When I think of you I miss you
When I see you I want you to die

Solving this problem is harder than anything
Because there is nothing to say
The truth hurts and will set you free
Now what is that supposed to mean

I've written many poems this week
And finding the truth is all I seek
Kill me with your words if thats what works
It can't be worse than how much it hurts

I can write a poem or a song
But I can never tell YOU what is wrong
Maybe the truth will help me heal
Or just cut the wound deeper

This pain is probably like no other
Cuz you were like my friend or a brother
Just tell me the truth and I'll leave you alone
Maybe I should just let you read my poems
