Book of Old
Discuses what most people think to be wierd, odd or just plain creepy or unheard of.
Some more of my poems,my better ones.
The sparrows sing
A sad,sad song
As one they loved
Took up and gone.
Without goodbye
Without so long
This bird spread its wings
And was gone.
It travels now,
In harm's way,
Hoping it will come back one day.
It tries its best
To move along,
All the while singing this song;
Come now dear child,
Come now with me,
Fight for our freedom
So we can be free.
Leave you families behind
And pick up your gun,
Run now dear child,
And you may go home.

But it dont go home,
It lays there in the red grass,
Its eyes cold
And heart acheing
As the knife through it
Carves out its family.

A kiss for luck,
And she is off.
A word of good will,
And she is on her way.
Adventures unknown.
The thoughts racing in her mind.
She wonders what he is like,
Not him as a person,
Him as a soul,
Him as a dream she knows well.
Him as a day,
Him as an animal.
Free spirited
And calming.
Mellow,lazy,
But all so sweet.
His heart was broke,
But she took it,
To sew it back together,
And tie it with a string,
Connecting her's to his
In a love ring.
She handles him,
As though he were ever running water,
So pure,
So subtle,
So him.

Dreams have power,
She knows they do.
they lifted her once,
but he crushed them again.
She has been knocked down,
But gets up again.
He is suprised as she smiles,
And walks away,
Leaving him in the dark,
Like he did to her that day.
She now laughs as he mopes by
And he cries.
She feels sorry and is his friend,
but will never let him
Control her again.
She's free now,
His hands gone from her body for good.

Blue Jay and red bird

The Blue Jay and the red bird
Are both two diffrent things
But when standing side by side
Both,they will sing.
They will soar upon thier wings
Searching for lost love.
The kind they only see
In the stars above.

Flying they go on
Above the other doubts
Claiming what is thiers
Amoung the purest clouds

Dipping thier feathered hand
Into the salty sea
Bringing it back up
Only to believe.

That somewhere in the world
Is thier destiny
waiting on golden pearches
In this caged world

Hopeing for the rainy day
The strings will be unfurled.
Singing once again,
To anyone who'll listen
Of the tiny little things
Everyone misses.

The things such as harmony
fellowship and trust.
Things that made the world go round,
Those replaced with lust.

Lust for your neighbor,
lust of the weath,
Lust to the pure white soul
Of the dove's brow.

And oh to dream of just that thing
That these birds fear most
Is to cut off thier wings-
Only just so you can boast.

The only way to go,
Is flying above the vest
And should thier wings get cut
They were better then the rest.
