Pregnany, Birth, and the after.
I got pregnant with twins in Sept. 07. I went through hell and couldn't work. At the 6&7 month mark I was so big and swollen and sore that I could hardly walk or do anything. I went into contractions early and the hospitalized me for 5 days while I was in labor. They were coming too soon for the doctors liking. After 5 days in the hospital the babies hit the 27 week mark and they finally took me in for a c-section. The kids were about a month early and I was nearly 300 pounds. I had them at 10:30am on april 27th 2008. The c-section was rough on me. The boys were 7 pounds Each! I was taking 500mg vicoden like candy just to walk or sit up. I was always pale. I made everyone depressed and upset because they could see the pain and illness in me. finally after about 2 or 3 weeks I returned to about norman. The kids have been doing good until recently. Kevin has been admitted into the hospital sence 9-2-08 and this is my 3rd night staying with him. He won't be leaving for at least another 3 days. He's been diagnosed with Kowisaki's Desease. It's a heart desease where one of his arteries is diolated. He is at constant risk for blood clots in his heart and heart attacks. he's only 4 mnths old and they are putting him on adult blood thinners. I am worried about his future but confadent about now. He will be on blood thinners the rest of his life, more than likely. The desease has only really been studied for about 40 years and they still haven't found an exact cause of it.
