Gaia is biting off from Animal Crossings with it's games.
In Animal Crossings you fish, trade items, and catch bugs to get a major part of your income. You also buy clothes for yourself, and furniture/wallpaper/rugs for your house.
Gaia Towns:
- First time in Gaia to have your own characters moveable (Like playing a video game)
- Explore through infinitely expanding towns together with other Gaians (Like visiting a village in Animal Crossing)
- Establish your home in Gaia Towns and allow players to view and walk in your home. (Like Animal Crossings homes)
- Buy bug net and collect insects found only in Towns. (See above)
- Look for rare item droppings similar to what you'll find in Gaia Forums. (Baloons drop items in Animal Crossings)
This makes it all but pure ripoff. All we need is the ability to make our own cloth designs and dig for fossils and it's absolute.
Nice, huh? The only original thing on Gaia is the Forums and Casino.
