Tuesday was my birthday, as I spent it at the zoo. Things I learned there:
One: Sumatran Tigers are effing HUGE. They're not the largest, or even third largest species, but they're still giant cats. They're also absolutely beautiful with their reddish coats.
Two: Monkeys are the laziest things in the entire zoo.
Three: Baby Belugas do not like to return toys.
Four: When feeding sharks, feed them where the most people can see the sharks go feeding frenzy. >.> I couldn't see it.
Five: Children are noisy... Very... very noisy.
Six: Belugas burp. whee
Seven: The zoo gives interaction objects to their animals around noon. I have to make sure to always visit about that time of day otherwise all the predators are sleeping and hiding.
