Why it takes me forever to finish a Jane Austen novel, I'll never know. But I did, and I'm glad. It's going to take me a while to start on another one. Maybe I'll read Pride & Prejudice next time, or Emma. Anyway, Northanger Abbey. It was....OK, but it did get better toward the end, even though it did seem it was a bit rushed. This is what I got from the entire novel, which I think is probably the gist of it:
Catherine: Reminds me of me a little. She likes to read. Hehe. But, unlike her, I don't let the books I read get to my head....much.
Isabella Thorpe: A flirt full of bullshit.
John Thorpe: Manipulative little ******** with a weird fetish on horses and carraiges. Bah....weirdo.
Captain Tilney: Man whore.
General Tilney: ...I wouldn't want him as a dad.
Henry Tilney: *sigh*
I think that just about covers it. Yes?

I'll swear to shake it up, if you swear to listen.
