Love can scar
more than hate
whats done is done
you can't cheat fate
I thought you'd lend a hand
yet your a tad bit late
too bad for you
you can't erase this slate
with what you've caused,
and the things you create
for you see love
I can very well relate.

-Victim to a Dream-

I sat beside her bed stand
and watched her weary frown
the days grow shorter now, and easy
but Alice is not coming around.
In one arm grasped a rabbit
the other a blood stained cloth
from the tireless days she tried to die
alas it couldn't be sought.
The asylum remains still and quiet
as I eye her swollen wrist
Eye slits narrow;
sigh of disdain from remembrance back amidst
a gentle moan entices
as I lean closer her frame
she clutches her white rabbit
with pale lips moving as if to call a name.
I take her hand and grasp it tightly
victim to her song
gulp once,
than slightly twice,
and ask her what is wrong?
looking back i feel but sorrow
as her hand begins to slip
i shake my head
and grab her palms replenishing my sweaty grip
she tells me of a wonderland but how am I to tell
this topsy- turvy fantasy
is it heaven?
is it hell?
Giggling faintly she stifles smile
than lowers her eyes in vain
“ My wonderland is heaven. Til release me from the pain.”
she claims these things but never
of a p***y cat thats been purged
within her dreams and wont come out
until she says choice words.
She says she mad
she said these things I've never heard before
doubt has got me,
I'm scared for her
but quoted never more...
for when she closed her eyes
the rabbit dropped upon the floor
the Cheshire cat has claimed another soul
Forever more.

-Queens Logic-
Present eyes of darkest night
illuminated smiles that brings delight
to all indeed
with insanity and their trials
to reconcile for the crazed denials
that seem to travel way to far
into a world where remarkable turns bizarre
imbibe what your taught, child
and this nightmare may end
but the Cheshire will not
