pokes at Gaia Okay... posts havn't been showing up anywhere except, ironically, here, for the past two days. It's starting to annoy me, 'cause I really like posting on it and I just can't. Oh, well... I'm sure they'll get it fixed soon. In other news... I got a job. Crossroads... the food service/grocery store that's become my favorite place to eat on campus. The good news is, I'm working 7 hours a week (at around minimum wage) which means around a $40 paycheck each week. Which doesn't sound like much, at first, but you have to remember that that's $40 more than I'm getting now, so... The bad news, however, is that one of those shifts conflicts with the time I was supposed to meet Kate. Oye... it's as if every possible conflict that could prevent us from meeting is coming up. Oh, well. Anyway, I'm hoping we can still meet Thursday, just 4 hours later than we had planned. We'll see if that works out. That's pretty much all, for now.

	You sound like you've been fairly busy. I haven't gotten up the motivation to go job hunting yet again. I think I'll wait until I get done my driver training classes.

	Yay! A comment! glomps Kai-chan Fairly busy, but not overly so. I just can't wait 'till I get my first paycheck... I have a meal plan for food, and a bank accound and debit card for gas.... but any kind of things like DVDs and CDs and stuff like that, I've been pretty much out of luck.

	Um... somewhere between 5.50 and 6.00. I think I'm making about 5.80. But since it's work-study, it's tax-free. biggrin

	Higher than here then. It's 5.90 Cdn. here and the first 7000 a year you earn is untaxed I think.

	Wow... Except in special cases, everything you earn is taxed here. But.. does the math Yeah.. 5.90 Cdn is, like, less than 5 Usd.

	Well...That's just Alberta's minimum wage and I haven't seen a place that pays less than 6.50 yet.
