Today I open my eyes to something new
a land far away with skies so blue
in the sand and days of old
in builds so small and cold
I find a friend true
to add to my loving crew
his name I won't speak
and he doesn't think of me a freak
I cherish him with my heart
but we are so far apart
in the heat we lay
on this summer day
I wish I could stay under the sun's beam
but I remember now, this is all just a dream.
