my friends have a small wine cork collection. every so often they like to buy a bottle of wine and when they empty it they put the cork in a shadow box. they like to buy something different every time they go so they have different corks in the collection.

ANYWAY -

there were many bottles of wine at their wedding reception. there were so many that it would overflow their shadow boxes with all the corks. so i collected them up, planning to make them something they could hang near the others they had.

i bought a grapevine wreath and a length of silk grape vine with leaves and grape clusters on it. i also got one red and one green cluster of grapes. i attached the vine and grape clusters to the wreath and then i attached all the corks to it with some hot glue. there were a lot so i used a bunch of them to make a cluster of 'cork grapes' to hang in the middle. it's part of my wedding present to them.

the other part is a scrapbook i'll be making with the pictures i took....
more on that when i start working on it.
