I've been tryin' to kick it into overdrive with the avvie arts for my shop. I slacked off for about two weeks, so I really need to get to work. It surprised me, though, because I came to realize exactly how stupid some people can be, and how stupid they seem to think I am.
I finished a chibi art of a girl. I delivered it to her and everything, and she complains that it wasn't colored. So I went back, looked at her order, and she never specified what she wanted. If they don't specify, I assume they want pencil, and I told her as much. She waits a bit and then responds saying "Nu-uh, it says color! Go look!" I went back and looked. She had edited her order. I wouldn't have told her she ordered one thing unless I had gone back to double check. How stupid do I seem to her? I mean, come on people!
Not only that, but people don't post pictures of their avvies. They either just give me the username, or give me a link. First off, if I wanted to go click something to see the avvies you want me to draw, then I would go look it up my damn self. Second, I am not going to look them up. It is your job to make sure that I have all the necessary materials to complete the job you're paying me for. I am not going to go do your job. You don't pay me enough.
That just doesn't make any sense to me! GRAWRRRR! STUPID MAKES ME ANGRY!!!!
Ugh. I would give quite a bit to be able to smack one or all of those people. It doesn't make me feel better if I hit my computer monitor, either. Just makes my hand hurt.
