Greetings from the World of Spaz
I reject your sanity and substitute my lack thereof. :D
Ooowwwww!!!!
So, the story goes like this:

I was taking one of my dogs for a walk, and as we were nearing my driveway, she wanted to run. Seeing that she rarely wants to do anything besides lay around and create drool puddles, I indulged her. We ran towards the house, but as we turned to go up the driveway, I slid (probably on some grass or pine needles that were laying in the driveway), and got a huge road rash on my right leg and a smaller one on my left elbow. They stung sooooooo badly, but after I showered (and used iodine, which stung even more), I put this blue goo stuff on the burns. The goo is mostly aloe, but it has some sort of anesthetic in it, so it numbs the area. The burns don't sting anymore (for the time being), but they are still really uncomfortable, and I can still feel them. The area has started to swell on my leg, and my elbow isn't too bad. I scraped up my hands too, but that was nothing really. I just used some hydrogen peroxide on them, and they were A-OK. My palms aren't even scraped.

The positive side is that I've completely forgotten about all of my mosquito bites, and they aren't bothering me anymore... knock on wood... sweatdrop

cry I'm glad I have a relatively high threshold for pain, otherwise, this would have been much worse... I'm used to playing rough, so I get battered, cut, and bruised on a semi-regular basis. This is not your average abraision though; this [breally hurts! sad

    DANG!
That sounds awful! But it's nice about you mosquito bites.
Sorta reminds me when I was in kindergarten. We were doing relays in P.E., and I ran too fast and fell. I got scrapes on both elbow and knees. It probably wasn't that bad, but heck. I was five.

I've done that before; it really hurts!!

The anesthetic is worn off now, so both my leg and my elbow really hurt now. It stings, and I don't know how I'm going to sleep tonight. sad
