eek! >.< I'm catching up with myself!!

Letting go of Jules, Phoenix closed his eyes as if he were concentrating on something. Then, he opened his eyes, looking into Jules’ and, before she knew it, she was sitting on his lap.
“Wha-…how?” Jules stammered, confused, as she grabbed his shirt to keep from toppling off of his lap.
“Believe it now?” Phoenix asked, his eyes shimmering.
“Fine; you win,” Jules admitted, “Now put me down.”
“Aw! So soon?” Phoenix asked as he held onto Jules tighter, “But we were just starting to have fun!”
“Phoenix! Put me down!” Jules exclaimed.
“Aw! Oh, okay.”
Phoenix kissed the bridge of Jules’ nose, making her turn bright red, before setting her down on the bench next to him.
“Okay, where was I?” he asked more to himself, “Oh, yes! Normal humans like you, ninjas, witches, werewolves, vampires, and then demons.”
“We have angels AND demons at this school?” Jules asked, surprised.
“That’s why Dark Alley’s called an inclusion school, silly!” he said, putting his arm around her waist and pulled her closer, “Did you not know that before starting here?”
“No, not really. I just went to the school I was zoned for,” Jules replied as she pried Phoenix’s hand off her waist.
Then, the bell rang. Everyone got up and started filing to class. Jules shot straight up.”
“Well, I need to go find my next class so…”
