2:16 PM I am currently in an incredibly foul mood.
Why? Well, I just got through playing one of the greatest games I've ever played: Fate Stay Night. Great cast of characters, amazing plot, good "although painted and still frame mostly" graphics, nice sound effects... Ugh it was PHENOMENAL.
So I'm sure some of you are like "But Quix-kun, why are you in an incredibly foul mood? You should be happy to have played such a great game!"

You DO NOT have such an amazing story, and then leave it LIKE THAT! That was NOT the ending I wanted. That ending pissed me off! It was supposed to be happily ever after! All the hardships they felt, all the love they felt, they were supposed to be together forever...

GIVE ME THE ENDING I DESERVED! Everytime I flash back to that ending, I then think back over the amazing story I saw AND IT PISSES ME OFF!!! NO! NO! NO! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
I'm so pissed right now that I'm working on a comic to show my frustration. If you ever get this game, AND YOU SHOULD (Hellooo Bit Torrent + English[though not complete yet] Patch), you will probably just as peeved that the first story you play ENDS SO BADLY! I mean, again, it was a happy ending, BUT NOT THE ENDING I HAD HOPED FOR! It was a "Life goes on" sort of ending, where the lovers never see each other again and carry out their lives, the girl finally passing away and the guy continuing on with no regret and still retaining the wonderful memories he shared with her... ... ... ARE YOU F***ING KIDDING ME!?
Sorry, I'm a romantic... I like romantic endings... *sighs* Well, I still have 2 (technically 4) more stories to do... so hopefully those will end better...
Edit: I have calmed down since then, though each time I have flashbacks of the woman - dying alone - it tears my heart apart. =_=; I think true love should overcome all boundaries and the two lovers should be together in the end. Apparently the game makers thought otherwise.
I talked with a good friend of mine and she discussed the anime of Fate Stay Night with me. Aside from the absence of sex scenes (The game will of course be diff. from the anime in that regard - even though the sex scenes in the game were used as plot devices...GOOD plot devices... and were actually vital to the story) as well as a lack of nudity (now that is a shocker), I found out the ending is similar to the Fate story. We talked about other differences, like the main character being a complete retard in the anime while in the game he is clueless in the beginning but matures quickly into a dependable guy.
Talked about her fav. character Rider (whom I like too, but not as much as she does) and things that weren't seen like True Assassin who just looks creepy.
So yea, I'm cooled off and playing the 2nd story. It's like a whole diff story! Nothing is the same, new encounters, new problems, new plans and strategies, and it's getting my blood pumping again with all the awesomeness 4laugh But now that I've seen how Fate ended, Unlimited Blade isn't looked at as highly since I don't want to be dealt such a crushing blow at the end again - so I'm not keeping my hopes too high.
