So today I got all sorts of fun stuff, on Gaia and in real life. A whole bunch of donations, which really rocked. I still have to wait for stuff I ordered offline too :B
I'm having pasta tonight and watching Donnie Darko, mah favorite movie. The lonely feeling of birthdays somewhat vanished when I saw all the lovely presents mother dearest got for me :]
But I'm still sad. I don't like getting older. I even got inspired to write something about growing, so if anyone reads the following, tell me something about it!

A lot of things are different when you're older, but you don't really notice. Like, when you're younger, you know the sadness of falling from the jungle gym, or letting the ice cream fall off your cone. When you get older, you know the feeling of agony. When you're a kid, swearing is such a big deal, and when you're a teenager you say the infamous "f word" without a second thought. As a baby, you cry when you're left alone, because you crave attention. As a young individual, you don't just crave attention, you need it, since fitting in is crucial. The only major difference is, you don't cry to suffice your need, and no one ever seems to be there when you do cry.
